The journal, Mycotaxon, was founded by Co-Editors Grégoire L. Hennebert and Richard P. Korf in 1974; the historical record of editors, administrators, and our editorial advisory board are maintained on this website for reference. In 2022 the journal was on hiatus as we searched for a new editorial team, but without finding a suitable team, decided to end publication at the end of 2023.
