| Castañeda Ruíz, R. F., M. Calduch, D. Garcia & Z. Izquierdo. A new species of Pleurotheciopsis from leaf litter. Mycotaxon 77: 1-5. 2001. ABSTRACT: Pleurotheciopsis tropicalis anam. sp. nov., found on decaying leaves of Calophyllum antillarum Britton in a tropical rain forest, is described and illustrated. This species is distinguished by cylindrical, pale brown, 3-septate conidia produced in unbranched acropetal chains. Notes on previously described species of Pleurotheciopsis are given.
